Slovak-Czech rivalry gave the duel of week 14 FIBA EuroLeague proper seriousness and prestige. Fact that players from Košice competed in mentioned match for third place in group C couldn’t put the truth in the shade. From our viewpoint crucial games were played on other courts, because hopeless situation of hosts (their position at the bottom of the Group C) didn’t allow them to gain some points for play off deployment.

"The lack of motivation played a crucial role in this match,” reported on game’s course coach of Good Angels Štefan Svitek. "Game was reciprocally mangled and incoherent. We "were able” to throw away many chances, also some free-throws, fortunately we improved our play in second quarter and by good defense we managed to gain lead, what we held until the end.”
Even more critical was the coach of Brno Jan Bobrovský, who commenting on his players said (for fibaeurope.com): "I am terribly disappointed, not just about today’s game, but also about the whole EuroLeague season. We went through solid training for this game, but we played well only one quarter. Otherwise it was miserable."
Game’s greatest attraction was the performance of former Brno player, now in shirt of Good Angels, Hana Horáková. "Home players asked me if I know where is the restroom of away team,” stated for fibaeurope.com 32 years old basketball player, who played 11 season in Brno’s shirt and during her return "home” she made 17 points what helped her to become the best scorer of the game.
