Little time for speculation.
Recent results of teams already advancing to play off offer many speculations concerning possible opponent of Good Angels. The most probable is that our path to Istanbul (where the final tournament is held) will be crossed by a team from Russia, but avoiding of "big brothers" is still (only in "hypothetical-mathematical" level) possible. Name of our opponent will be decided according to three matches: Fenerbahce Istanbul – Parfumerias Avenida Salamanca, CCC Polkowice – Nadezhda Orenburg, and also Basket Lattes Monpellier Agglomération – Sparta&K Moscow Region. In an simplified way, Good Angels won’t play against Yekaterinburg only in case if team from Vidnoje decide. There are many combinations and factors which could possibly influence the situation, but its not necessary to state them all because of the fact, that doing so can only cause fuss to basketball fans. But one is a worth stating: If Sparta&K wins in France, risks that in play off will face Orenburg, a team which beat Sparta&K (66:65) for the first time in this season of Russian Super-league.
